Attention Tokio Hotel fans: Circle October 2 on your calendars.

It's finally official (for sure!)

That's the day the German quartet will release their new album, Humanoid, according to producer/songwriter David Jost.

In a statement to MTV News, Jost said it's "now certain" the new TH album will be released October 2, and it draws influences from the world of science fiction — or at least frontman Bill Kaulitz does.Aside from the title and release date, not much else is known about Humanoid. In early 2009, production team the Matrix told MTV News that they had recorded eight songs with Tokio Hotel and that the material was "strong, anthem-y" stuff with a dark edge and "lots of guitars." It's not known if any of those songs will make the final cut of the album. According to multiple sources, Humanoid will be released in both German and English.

August 27 – Nokia Concert <3

A date has been chosen for the Tokio Hotel Acoustic Nokia Concert.

It will be held August 27th in Köln Germany. They will be presenting their single there!!! Tickets will be raffled and there will be 350 pairs of tickets available.
They will play 6 songs, one of which will be their new single. It will be an acoustic performance.

As a consolation for those who don’t get tickets for Cologne, there’ll be a mobile content package set by Nokia and Tokio Hotel in selected stores. It includes a voucher for 10 Euros for the download of the new Tokio Hotel album Humanoid, as well as a spoken short message, ring tones and background pictures of the band for the mobile phone.

Tokio Hotel are advertising for Nokia :)



The teenie rockers of Tokio Hotel have closed a rewarding advertisementcontract deal, right before the mayhem around their new album starts. The 4 Madgeburger musicians will display their names and faces for the handycompany Nokia. This was confirmed by manager David Jost to the dpa. He did not say anything about the financial part of the contract. Until now Tokio Hotel stayed away from advertising. The musicians didn’t want to be connected to closely with any brandlogos.


A part of their contract is – among other things – a poster campaign and an unplugged concert, said David Jost.The concert with acoustic instruments wil be held in Germany.
The cards will be raffled off and can not be bought. Jost did not go into detail about the financial part of the deal. Untill now Tokio Hotel did not do much advertising. The band around singer Bill kaulitz did not want to be connected to specific brands. A banner campaign for fashionlabel H&M was an action for aids awareness, not a commercial advertising deal.


Tokio Hotel fits very well into the marketing strategy of the finnish cellphone company. With his music Handy’s and the Nokia Musicservice , a song flatrate for the cellphone, Nokia will try to compete with the number one on the market, Apple, with their IPods and IPhones as well as with their musicstore ITunes.

Multimillion Contract for Tokio Hotel



Now they are turning into advertising stars as well!Germany’s most succesful Rockband has secretly signed a exclusive multimillion deal with Technic manufacturer Nokia.Bill (19), Tom (19), Gustav (20) und Georg (22) will be the faces of the poster campaign for the products of the company and will also be on the concertstage.


Heikki Tarvainen, CEO for nokia germany: “‘Tokio Hotel’ has brought us lots of positive energy, like not many others do.”

New Album from Tokio Hotel will be called “Humanoid”

Hamburg – The Fans from Tokio Hotel won’t have to wait so long anymore: The new Album from the Magdeburger Teenie-Rockband will be released in the first week of October and it will be called «Humanoid». Band-Manager David Jost told this the German Press-Agency dpa.

«Bill (Kaulitz) wanted, the Album to be called the same name worldwide», explained Jost. The word «Humanoid» is taken from the Sci-Fi-Language and means “anthropoid”.
